Lipid Panel Fasting Sugar I Was Told To Do Nothing For My Prediabetes.?

I was told to do nothing for my prediabetes.? - lipid panel fasting sugar

I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes - fasting BS 106th 2 hours GTT result was 154th My A1C is 5.6. The endocrinologist told me that it was pointless to do something special, this time on the dietary habits and am not overweight by any means, and my lipid panel is within normal limits. He said that taking aspirin every day and see in a year. Does that sound right? BTW, his clinic has an award for excellence in diabetes received last year and is considered one of the best in our state. I am very worried. The blood glucose levels increased?

  1. I do not know how many awards from the hospital for nothing. The opinion makes no sense. The level of HbA1c is thin) is (less than 6.0 as normal. However, fasting BS 106 is the sequence of pre-diabetes (91 - 125). In addition, GTT is u0026lt 2 hours of 154 over the expected result of \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\; 140th These two results are about the need to do to what you to keep your body out. You do not want this development. Many unwanted complications (loss of limbs, eye sight, etc..)

Immediately begin to walk regularly and sports (daily). In addition, the counting carbohydrates (does not start and stop the person who sent the garbage about 2 carbs each meal or other). I was already diabetic for two years and never told me and now I'm the type-2-full. This is not the sugar in the foods you need to worry, carbohydrates SE. Personally, I will now get breakfast somewhere around 20 to 25, lunch and dinner between 30 and 40, and all snacks \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ u0026lt 15th The best thing that power is a document that enters the mouth. I use a simulator without the calories (about my_calorie_counter), which is based on the Web and most of the food already in it. It was a revelation when you see what to eat in the food they are.

Oh, never heard, but it is baby aspirin to reduce the risk of heart attack at. Absolutely nothing to do with the readings of blood sugar!

Good luck and make lifestyle changes before it is too late and you win - Diabetes Day.

  2. She is still in normal range ... BS Are normal for a diabetic is 6.5 on the A1C. Yes, increase all types of stress, its level of sugar in the blood. If you want to change their habits eatiing ... Carbohydrates you have in a day. I have just been diagnosed ... Allow me, 2 for breakfast, 3 lunches, 2 dinners and 3 snacks during the day ... with a total of 10 in one day. Well, 1 carb = 15 to 19 mg. Start reading labels and go for the portion sizes only. Keep a food diary is also helpful. This may take some worries.

  10. Stress plays a role, not only increased the velocity of blood sugar levels in diabetics [1], but also in the development of hypertension [2]. However, it was finally shown that a predictor for type 2 diabetes, even if recent evidence that [3].

As for her eating habits, the physician can determine whether you have a healthy diet, so it should not try to change radically. You can do things like reducing the consumption of sodium and sugar, but given his physical profile, it is probably unnecessary - is still unclear how the type-2 diabetes, obesity, but the most important correlate.

Try to find, ways to reduce stress level, anyway. You might try a therapist or counselor (must be a fool not to see too) to help to identify and address the sources of their anxiety. Yoga is working for me, personally.
